Bargeldlos bezahlen in Regensburger Stadtbussen
- In den Regensburger Stadtbussen können Sie RVV Einzel- und Tages-Tickets am Automaten im Bus erwerben – ganz ohne Bargeld.
- Das kontakt- und bargeldlose Bezahlen funktioniert mit Ihrer Giro-, Debit-, Kreditkarte oder mit Ihrem Handy (Apple Pay und Google Pay).
- Für alle, die über keine eigene Bankkarte verfügen, gibt es die RVV-Prepaidkarte – ideal z.B. für Kinder.
Ab 29.10.2025 erhältlich im Vorverkauf
- Gegen eine Gebühr in Höhe von 5 EUR ist unsere Prepaidkarte im RVV-Kundenzentrum erhältlich.
- Im Laufe des November 2025 werden sukzessive auch RVV-Vorverkaufsstellen in Regensburg und im näheren Umland (Donaustauf, Lappersdorf, Neutraubling, Obertraubling und Sinzing) die Karte anbieten.

Prepaidkarte aufladen
- Ihre Prepaidkarte laden Sie ganz einfach online auf. Diese Funktion wird in Kürze zur Verfügung stehen.
- In allen Karten-Ausgabestellen können wir ebenfalls Guthaben auf Ihre Prepaidkarte aufbuchen.
- Als Aufladebeträge stehen 5 EUR, 15 EUR, 30 EUR und 50 EUR zur Auswahl. Beim Kauf der Karte müssen Sie ein Startguthaben in Höhe von mindestens 5 EUR aufladen.
Guthaben einsehen
- Im Kundenportal (Weiterleitung zu unserem Partner Switchio) sehen Sie, wieviel Guthaben auf Ihrer Prepaidkarte ist.
- Außerdem können Sie dort Ihre Fahrten einsehen und erhalten eine Übersicht der Kosten.

Where can I get an RVV prepaid card?
For a fee of EUR 5, our prepaid card is available at the RVV customer center.
During November 2025, RVV sales outlets in Regensburg and the surrounding area (Donaustauf, Lappersdorf, Neutraubling, Obertraubling, and Sinzing) will also gradually begin offering the card.

How can I top up my prepaid card?
You can easily top up your RVV prepaid card online at www.rvv.de/prepaid. This feature will be available soon.
We can also add credit to your prepaid card at all RVV sales outlets where the prepaid card is available and at the RVV customer center.
You can choose from top-up amounts of EUR 5, EUR 15, EUR 30 and EUR 50. When purchasing the card, you must load a starting balance of at least EUR 5.
Where can I see how much credit is left on my prepaid card?
You can check how much credit you have on your prepaid card at our advance sales outlets where the prepaid card is available, or online in the customer portal.
You do not need to register for the customer portal. When logging in, simply enter your card number and expiry date.
I no longer need my prepaid card. Can I have the credit balance paid out?
YYou can only return your prepaid card at the RVV customer center. We will refund you the entire remaining balance on the card.
Which terms and conditions apply to contactless payment?
These General Terms and Conditions for the RVV Prepaid Card apply to the purchase of RVV tickets from ticket machines on buses.
They supplement the General Conditions of Carriage, fare regulations, and fares of the RVV tariff in their currently valid version.
