As one of the finest and most lavishly constructed buildings the Nepal Himalaya Pavillon once graced the Expo 2000th. The pavilion with its huge park with Himalayan and China garden is home today of more than 3,500 different plant species and numerous art works. It is situated on a wooded hill above Wiesent (on Martini Drive) and it is a significant attraction and center of international understanding.
From Wiesent you reach the temple after a hike of about 2 km. The visit of the Nepal Himalaya Pavilions can be wonderfully combinded with a hike totaling 4.8 km (see map).
